Magnet
The Situation
It’s not who you know, it’s who knows what you want. Expertise + Connections + Introductions = Solutions. Linkedin has made a business for this purpose, and since 2012 there’s an in-person version: Magnet. It's a laid back networking event grounded in reciprocity, tackling the conundrum:
We all love to help, but we hate asking for it. Vulnerability is a pill best taken together.
Started in NYC, thriving in Portland, OR, and expanding to the Research Triangle in NC.

Just a Cup of Coffee
Corasama Solutions presents, "Just a Cup of Coffee," an event dedicated to empowering women in business through connection and shared experiences.
This event features two insightful guest speakers: Dr. Katie Ball, owner of Bling Dental, recognized as Willamette Week's Best Dental Office in 2024, and Beth Montag Schmaltz, a leader, entrepreneur, and owner of 17 Percent. They will share their journeys and offer practical advice to support your personal and professional growth.
Enjoy a selection of light bites, bubbles, and, of course, excellent coffee. This gathering offers a chance to connect with women who are making a difference in their careers and communities.
All proceeds from the event will support Girls Build, a nonprofit inspiring young girls through hands-on learning experiences.
While this event is geared toward women, allyship is strongly encouraged, and we welcome anyone who believes in supporting and uplifting women in business.
